REVEREND JOHN R. LACY
Reverend John R. Lacy is an anointed man of God who is blessed with many God-given gifts. A native of Tallassee, Alabama; he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Troy State University. Rev. Lacy is a graduate of Luther Rice Seminary with a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies. He faithfully served the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church family of Decatur, Georgia under the leadership of Pastor Jerry D. Black as an associate minister. He partnered with his wife for 15 years as the Coordinator of the Children’s Ministry at Beulah. In this position he ministered to over 150 children during Sunday worship and Wednesday Night Bible Study. Rev. Lacy was also an active member of the Sunday School Department. He served as one of the Sunday School Teachers in the Children and Youth Division. He also facilitated Biblical Studies classes through the Department of Christian Education at Beulah. His services extend beyond his church family to include an appointment to the faculty of the Fifth District Congress of Christian Education of the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia, Inc. Rev. Lacy is currently an instructor of youth for the Congress of Christian Education for the General Missionary Baptist State Youth Convention. He is also entrusted as a Workshop Facilitator for the Marriage Ministry for the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education auxiliary to the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.

Rev. Lacy is Pastor of The Gilead Christian Church in Riverdale Georgia. He was chosen as Pastor in December 2011 when the church was known as The House of Change Ministries. Under his leadership the congregation has experienced numerical and financial growth. Within a six-month period, the church was able to transition from the basement of a local hotel to a newly renovated building with a seating capacity of 250. Pastor Lacy is very excited in his new position and is in the process of restricting various entities of the ministry. Rev. Lacy is a gifted passionate Christian Educator, a chosen disciple of Christ and a dedicated community servant. He is a licensed Medical Technologist. He is employed with the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Decatur, GA. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Rev. Lacy has received many awards and accolades for his service to the Body of Christ. He is an Atlanta Congress of Christian Education honoree.
Rev. Lacy is the loving husband of Sonya J. Lacy and the father of two wonderful sons, Reuben and Jeremy. The Lacy family resides in Snellville, GA
